Don't get us wrong; Eric and I (mostly I) love bread, sugar, pizza, and desserts as much as the next guy but also like our bodies to be able to keep up with us when in pursuit of adventure. In a society where most foods are over-processed and loaded with corn syrup or sugar, we yearn for something more. That is where our primal lifestyle, and therefore primal cooking, began January 2011. So, follow us as we attempt to re-create old meals in a primal way while also making new recipes that are delicious, minimally processed, and healthy (most of the time)!

Recipes have been pulled and modified from various primal, paleo, or gluten free websites, but also from family recipes... we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
